TAMSLEY / LEGAL

Privacy Policy Terms of Service

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Tamsley LLC operates AI phone receptionists for home service businesses. This policy explains what information we handle, why we handle it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers two different groups of people, and the rules are not the same for both.

1. Who we are

Tamsley LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered office at 30 N Gould St #63249, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. In this policy, "Tamsley", "we" and "us" mean Tamsley LLC.

You can reach us at contact@tamsley.com for anything in this policy.

2. Two kinds of people, two different roles

Website visitors

If you browse tamsley.com or use the chat box on it, we handle your information for ourselves. We decide what is collected and why.

People who call a business that uses Tamsley

If you call a plumber, an HVAC company or another business whose phone is answered by a Tamsley assistant, we handle your information on behalf of that business, not for ourselves. That business decides what happens to it. We process it only to run the service for them.

This matters for your rights. If you want your call information deleted, the business you called is the one who decides. We explain how to reach them in section 9.

3. What we collect from website visitors

  • Standard technical data your browser sends, such as IP address, approximate location, browser type and the pages you open. This is handled by our hosting provider to serve the site and to block abuse.
  • Anything you type into the chat box on the site, including your name, email address or phone number if you give them, and the content of your messages.
  • Anything you send us by email.

We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics on tamsley.com and our plumber website to understand how visitors use our pages and to improve the website. It collects information such as pages viewed, referring websites, session activity, approximate location, and browser and device details. Your browser sends technical information, including your IP address, to Google when the tag loads.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including cookies named _ga and _ga_..., to distinguish browsers and sessions. These identifiers are used for website measurement. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, chat messages, call recordings or call transcripts to Google Analytics.

Google processes this information to provide analytics. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy. Analytics retention depends on the settings of our Google Analytics property; this policy does not apply the call-record retention period below to analytics data.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies alone may not stop all analytics requests. On supported desktop browsers, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent Google Analytics from using your visit data. Contact contact@tamsley.com with questions about website analytics or your privacy rights.

4. What is collected during a phone call

When you call a business that uses a Tamsley assistant, the assistant collects what it needs to pass the job to that business:

  • your name;
  • a callback number;
  • the service address where the work is needed;
  • a description of the problem and when it started;
  • how urgent it is, and whether there is an immediate safety hazard;
  • whether you are the owner, the tenant or someone else;
  • a preferred time window and any notes about getting access to the property;
  • the length of the call and a written summary of it.

Please do not give the assistant payment card numbers, bank details, government identification numbers or medical information. It does not need them and does not ask for them.

5. Call recording and transcription

Calls answered by a Tamsley assistant may be recorded and are converted into a written transcript. At the start of every call, the assistant tells you that you are speaking with an automated assistant and that the call may be recorded. If you do not want to be recorded, you can hang up and contact the business another way.

Recordings and transcripts are used to pass the job to the business you called, to keep a record of what was agreed, and to check and improve how the assistant handles calls.

6. Why we handle this information

  • To answer calls and pass jobs to the business you called.
  • To book appointments and send confirmations.
  • To operate, secure and support the service.
  • To measure website usage and improve our pages and navigation.
  • To check the quality of the assistant and correct its mistakes.
  • To answer you when you contact us, and to run our own business, including billing our clients.
  • To meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

7. Who we share it with

We share call information with the business you called. That is the whole point of the service.

Beyond that, we use a small number of outside providers to run the service, and they only receive what they need to do their job. They fall into these categories:

  • a voice platform that answers the call and produces the transcript;
  • hosting and storage providers that run our website and hold the call records;
  • a customer relationship and messaging platform that holds the jobs and the chat conversations;
  • Google Analytics for website usage measurement, as described in section 3;
  • an email provider that sends notifications;
  • a payment provider that bills our business clients.

These providers are bound to use the information only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people involved.

8. How long we keep it

We keep call records for as long as the business you called is an active Tamsley client. After that contract ends, we keep the records for thirty days so the business can export them, and then we delete them from our active systems.

Backups are overwritten on their own cycle, so a copy can survive a little longer before it is removed.

Website enquiries and emails are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of our dealings with you.

9. Your choices and your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. You will not be treated differently for asking.

If you called a business using Tamsley

Contact that business first, because the information is theirs. If you cannot reach them, or you are not sure who they are, write to contact@tamsley.com with the phone number you called from and the approximate date of the call. We will pass your request to the business and help them act on it.

If you are a website visitor or a client

Write to contact@tamsley.com. We may ask you for enough information to confirm who you are before we act, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.

10. Security

Access to call records is restricted, records are separated so that one client cannot see another client's calls, and incoming data is verified before it is stored. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and we keep the number of people and tools with access as small as we can.

11. Children

The service is meant for businesses and their customers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Where your information is handled

We are based in the United States and our providers may handle information in the United States and in other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be handled in a country whose privacy laws may differ from your own.

Tamsley is not an emergency service

If you are reporting a gas leak, a fire, an electrical hazard or any immediate danger, hang up and call 911 or your utility company. The assistant is configured to tell you to do exactly that, and it will not book an appointment in those cases.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top always shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will make it obvious on the site.
