A caller needs a plumber. You’re already with one.
“My kitchen sink won’t drain.” Tamsley introduces itself as an automated assistant and collects the caller’s name, service address, and plumbing problem.
02 / EXAMPLE SUMMARY
The details collected. The next step arranged.
An appointment from your Tamsley calendar’s availability. A notification with the details your business needs to pick up the conversation.
Illustrative examples, not real customer requests. Wording and outcomes depend on the call, service availability, and your configuration.
A SIMPLE CONNECTION
You keep the number. We take the next step.
A receptionist that fits around your phone workflow. No new number to put on your truck.
01
Forward what you miss.
Your phone rings first. Forward unanswered calls to your dedicated Tamsley service line.
02
Make the conversation count.
The assistant collects the caller’s details and schedules from the calendar provided by Tamsley.
03
Get back to the work.
Lead and booking notifications reach your business. Your technician assesses and quotes the job.
Call handling depends on your forwarding setup, carrier, and service availability.

“I think I smell gas in my basement.”

GOOD WORK. A THOUGHTFUL FIRST ANSWER.

YOUR NAME. YOUR REPUTATION.
Good judgment. Clear boundaries.
It’s your name on the van. Your assistant needs to know where its job starts, and where it stops.
01 / PRICING
Your technician quotes the job.
Tamsley doesn't quote a price. Your technician does that on site, once they've seen the work.
02 / EMERGENCIES
Danger needs help. Not an appointment.
Gas leaks, fire, and immediate danger are not booked. Callers are directed to hang up and call 911 or their utility company.
03 / TRANSPARENCY
An AI assistant. Clearly introduced.
At the start of a call, the assistant identifies itself as automated and says the call may be recorded.
Month-to-month. Cancel with 30 days’ written notice.
YOUR NUMBERS. YOUR CALL.
Every ring has potential.
Use your own assumptions. See the potential value of the work behind your unanswered calls.
An estimate of potential job value, not a revenue forecast, profit calculation, or guarantee. It does not account for service costs or your capacity to take on work.
Yes. Your existing business number remains yours. You forward the calls you don't answer to the dedicated number provided by Tamsley. Your phone rings first.
Does Tamsley answer every call?
It handles the calls you don't pick up and forward to the service. If you answer, Tamsley doesn't engage. Call handling depends on forwarding, your carrier, and service availability.
What does getting started involve?
We collect your business information, configure your assistant, and set up the booking calendar and notifications. You enable forwarding on your live business line, and we jointly test that the service answers.
Where do appointments go?
Appointments are scheduled in a calendar provided by Tamsley. You receive lead and booking notifications, and you are responsible for keeping availability current. Contact us to discuss your existing calendar workflow.
Will the assistant quote a price or give advice?
No. The service does not include price quoting or technical advice. Your technician quotes the work on site. It also does not include human answering, outbound calling, or emergency dispatch.
What happens when I call the demo?
An automated assistant handles a demonstration plumbing call. Calls may be recorded and transcribed. Use fictional details; don't share confidential information. Demo appointments are not real appointments. Standard carrier charges apply. The demo is separate from the paid service, which has no free trial.
How do usage and billing work?
The setup fee is $500 USD. The $397 USD monthly subscription begins immediately after onboarding is complete and your receptionist is successfully live, then renews monthly. No monthly subscription is charged before activation. Each Billing Month includes 200 minutes of agent conversation. Unused minutes do not roll over. Additional minutes cost $0.75 each and are billed on the following month's invoice. Applicable taxes are additional. The $500 setup fee covers onboarding.
Can I cancel?
The agreement is month to month. Either party may terminate with 30 days' prior written notice. Service and monthly fees continue through the notice period. Monthly fees already paid are non-refundable, including partial months. Contact contact@tamsley.com for notice instructions under your agreement.
Is this right for my business?
It is designed for businesses that miss calls and have capacity for more scheduled work. If your team already answers every call, you are fully booked, or each job needs a detailed quote before scheduling, discuss the fit with us first.
